The SRAM Apex AXS XPLR 1×12 gravel groupset brings wireless electronic shifting and hydraulic disc braking to gravel rides, daily adventures and routes beyond the tarmac. Its 40T chainring and 11–44T cassette offer a 400% gearing range, with the simplicity of a single-chainring drivetrain.

Built for exploring
Apex XPLR AXS provides wireless gear changes without gear cables, with customisable shift controls through the SRAM AXS app. The clutch-equipped rear derailleur helps control the chain over rough surfaces, while flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes provide progressive braking on changing terrain.
The PG-1231 cassette fits a compatible Shimano/SRAM HG 11-speed road freehub, making it a useful option for builds using existing HG wheels. The aluminium DUB Wide crankset and 40T chainring complete a straightforward gravel setup.

Choose your setup
Crank lengths: 160, 165, 170, 172.5 or 175mm.
Optional rotors: no rotors, two 160mm rotors, or a 160/140mm pair. Rotors are included only when a rotor option is selected.
Compatibility and support
Requires a compatible derailleur hanger, HG freehub, flat-mount disc brake mounts and a suitable SRAM DUB Wide bottom bracket, sold separately. This 12-speed Apex derailleur uses a conventional hanger mount; it does not require a UDH frame.
