Our Gold Service is our top level workshop service, designed for bikes that need thorough care and attention. No area is overlooked.
Your bike receives a full strip down and rebuild, with key components removed, cleaned, regreased and reinstalled to ensure everything runs smoothly and reliably. This service restores performance, improves longevity, and brings your bike back feeling better than new.
All bolts and assemblies are checked and tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. Gears and brakes are inspected and adjusted, wheels are trued, and the drivetrain is cleaned to improve shifting performance.
This service is ideal for heavily used bikes, bikes that have seen winter riding, or those that haven’t had a full overhaul in some time.

How long does a Gold Service take?
As this is a full strip down and rebuild, it usually takes slightly longer than our other services. Most Gold services are completed within 1 to 2 weeks depending on workload and any additional parts required.
Is this service suitable for older bikes?
Yes. Older bikes often benefit the most from a full strip down, especially if they have not had a thorough service in some time.
Will parts be replaced automatically?
No. We will always contact you before replacing any worn or damaged parts. No additional work is carried out without your approval.
What is the difference between Silver and Gold?
The Gold Service includes a full strip down and rebuild, along with headset and bottom bracket removal and re-greasing. Silver focuses more on adjustment, wheel truing, and drivetrain cleaning.
How often should I book a Gold Service?
For regularly ridden bikes, once a year is a good guideline. If you ride in harsh conditions or high mileage, you may benefit from it more frequently.
